Some of the greatest retro video games of all time came out on arcade before hitting consoles. Any one who is a gamer may remember spending all their lunch money on arcades. The first arcade I got addicted to was the original Street Fighter 2.

I checked out the arcade machines on eBay and found some great machines Available in the UK. Next time I will check out eBay USA. But for now here are some great arcade machines available for sale in no particular order

1) Atari Asteroids - Current Bid £650

Asteroids was a very popular vector-based game released in 1979 by Atari. The object of the game is for the player to shoot and destroy asteroids without being hit by the fragments. It became a huge hit worldwide and is one Atari’s best sellers of all time

2) Atari Gauntlet Legends - Current Bid £350

Gauntlet Legends was released in 1998 and is a sequel to the popular Gauntlet from the mid 80’s. It is a fantasy themed action game which allows up to 4 players at the same time on one screen. It had a great feature which allowed players to save passwords and characters so players could return and continue from where they left off.

3) Galaxian - Current Bid £95

Galaxian built upon the original Space Invaders gameplay. Galaxian had the same style with groups of aliens hovering at the top of the screen. However Galaxian was different in that the aliens made diving attacks at the players ship making a bit more exciting then space invaders.
