It has been 60 years since Sony was first incorporated. Well not exactly 60 years for the name Sony as the company was originally called Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo K.K. They changed to Sony Corporation in 1958. They took a bold step by creating a company name did not mean anything. A practice that seems to be doing wonders these days. i.e. Flickr.
