Racketboy who am I going to call Retro Game Guru from now on has put together a list of games that defined the Sega Saturn. I have played most of the games on the list and cant agree more that they defined the Sega Saturn.
Of the games on the list the ones I played the most were Sega Rally, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and NiGHTS into Dreams. Sega Rally was very addictive in that it only had a few tracks (not like the 1 million tracks in GT4 that you will never race on) that you would race on again and again to perfect and try to beat your best lap. It was the first game I had for the Sega Satrun and was the only game I kept until I sold my Saturn (Why did I do that ? …. A big mistake). Street Fighter Alpha 2 was just the best 2D beat em up ever in my opinion. I still have memories of doing Akuma’s special move and seeing that white screen… was a great feeling on par with completing Zelda after 100 hours (I was slow at completing games). Finally my favourite NiGHTS… please play that game if you not already. Its an amazing game you have to experience and if you don’t believe me ask the retro game guru.

Another great list Racketboy. I would have included all those games as well apart from a few I have not played.
I was shocked to see Die Hard Arcade on the list. Not because its not a good game, but because I thought no one apart from me enjoyed it. If only it is was a bit longer it would have been amazing.
Did you ever play die hard trilogy?
I really liked that game especially the driving game.

I think you should do a feature on Exhumed. That was a great game that was overlooked and deserved more attention.

When I get a chance I will try to put together a list half as good as this. I have started one on the SNES so look out for it.
