Shan Michal Evans has kindly created two awesome banners for Urban Retro Lifestyle. It was a tough choice choosing one to go at the top but I could not reject the Pac Man one you see gracing the top of your screen right now. The other banner will soon be in its place so enjoy the Pac Man banner while it lasts. If your wondering who Shan is. He is the artist behind Tragic Magic Head. Shan has a awesome urban cartoon style evident in most of his art and has created very cool custom vinyl toys. Shan also creates some very cute (are guys allowed to say cute???) plush toys called Tragic Magic Toys. A big thanks to Shan for creating the new Urban Retro banner and if you want see more of Shan’s great work head over to the Tragic Magic Head website and dont forget to buy some Tragic Magic plush toys as well.
If you would like to create the next Urban Retro Lifestyle banner please feel free to contact me
UPDATE: Just noticed that Life in a Bungalo have done a interview with Shan aka. Squidboy

1That looks great! Nice work Shan!
I’d be up for creating a banner for you… Not for a while though, I’m crazy busy at the moment, but I’ll be in touch

2Still liked the old banner, but this Squidboy one fuckin rocks. Another suggestion. The new banner made your site super wide. Not bad when fully open on
a 17\” screen, but once you open a side bar or bookmark section, the site gets cut down a notch on the side.
Awesome work.

4Hey Glad everyone likes it as much as I do.
Jonic if you want to create a banner that would be awesome.
George I have taken a note of what you said.
Gnome you dont need a redesign and if you want a new banner there is no harm in asking Shan

5Thanks for saying I don’t need a redesign dear thir, but i really feel I do… I’m simply lacking decent html skills. Only got half-decent ones…
And I really wouldn’t ask Shan. Don’t even now him…
Cheers & thanks for being nice.. How’re the carnival preparations going? All set?

Your site is cool, even though my ability to play video games is sorely lacking. Your site needs to get off blogspot and maybe onto a Wordpress format. Then you can modify it with basic CSS skills to your hearts content, and the site has tons of tutorials.

7By the way that last comment was meant towards Gnome and his cool video game site, not Urban Retro, which does not need a redesign.

8Thanks for bing nice George… That’s why I voted for punk in your great little poll
May I specify? I meant the Clash!
Unfortunately leaving blogspot (for the time at least) is not really an option.. Not financially that is…
Still, I’m considering it.
Thanks & cheers
