Chess is quite possibly the greatest and most famous board game ever made. However it is one game that I never play because I just can not ever remember the rules. That is why this beautiful chess set is so genius. It has the rules for each piece printed on the actual piece. So if you are like me and can never remember which way that king goes then you need this so you can play chess at your leisure and if you lose you have got no excuse. [link via notcot]

1Well this is quite pointless.. really… If one cant even remeber the rules, how can one even possibly dream of ever learning basic tactics and remebering simple opening moves?
Could help beginners though. Probably.

2I see what you mean but it is a good place to start off if you do want to play chess.

3Well… tactics is the whole idea you see… Still, these pieces could help novice players… Once or twice.. The basic rules are after all very simple…
