We have launched a new project on UrbanRetro called ‘The Mouse vs. The Brush‘. The basis of this project is simple. We want to explore the difference between computer based art and tradtional forms of creating art. Every month 2 artists will go head to head and create an art print using either the mouse or the paint brush. The art will then be sold as 50 Limited Edition Art prints along with 100 4 Button Badge Sets Produced by each artist

In the first month of this project we have Ben the Illustrator (art above) using the mouse and Lou Pimentel (art below) using the Brush. We chose these 2 artists as they both have a bold and colourful style of art and their characters (Ben’s Seakerdog and Lou’s Cherry) make for a perfect friendly battle.

The first set of prints and badge set will be on pre-order from today at a special price and will go on general sale from the 3rd of December.
