I did not think that Mark James and Playbeast could possibly better the CardBoy Sneakers but I admit that I was wrong. The latest CardBoy is the CMYK Cartridges series and there is no doubt in my mind that these will be a big hit. These will come in 4 colours Cyan (Blue), Magenta (Red), Yellow and Key (Black) and maybe a secret colour. I just hope that they live up to the high quality expected from the CardBoy series and it will be great if there is a free large version just like with the CardBoy Sneakers. [info via Sandman]

I am a big fan of Isometric art and for that reason Josh Keyes is currently one of my favourite artists. His painting and drawings are Isometric masterpieces and the white backgrounds really bring out the little details found in each piece. You can see the huge inspiration that the natural environment has on Josh Keys work and the way that he extracts pieces of planet and puts them on a canvas is immensely clever and visually superb. Not all of Josh Keyes’ work is isometric based but it is the isometric paintings and drawings that really appeal to me. You can view more work at the Josh Keyes website and while your there take a look at the sketch book section to get a little insight into how Josh Keyes style and art develops.

Friends With You have done some very cool things recently. Firstly they done a Giant Blimp Parade on Miami Beach and then they opened a very fun looking playground. Just goes to show that there is no limit to what artists can do these days. I really which I could have gone to both of these events especially the playground, I envy all those kids because all the playgrounds I went to as a kid were always falling to pieces . Wooster Collective have made a call out for “Trash Art”. What is trash art? Above is a perfect example. You probably have seen trash lying around the streets from time to time and it always looks awful. But how about getting a large marker or spray can and making the trash look a little more interesting. Sounds like a great idea to me and Wooster Collective want to start a collection so send them any photos you have.
