Owen Phillips started out as a graffiti artist and as many great artists moved onto professional work. That is not to say that Owen lost any of his street cred because you can see the street art influences in his work. Not many artists can vary there work by combining street art and illustration and make it all look topnotch, but you can see the difference in styles of some of Owens work and it all looks super cool. Just compare the work you see here and you will understand where I am coming from. Owen has worked for some big clients including Dazed & Confused and O’Neil. Owen has also exhibited work along side the likes on Banksy and D*Face. Owen will be exhibiting work at StolenSpace along side other artists from Thursday evening so if you get a chance head down there.
