Retro video games and trainers / sneakers is a very popular combination. How do I know this? Well after seeing how many people wanted the Super Mario Run Athlectic Trainers I was just waiting for the next company to follow the trend.

Pro-Keds seem to be the only company since to bring out a range of trainers with a retro gaming theme. The Arcade Series, which was hunted down by Arcade Heroes, does not disappoint and there are some stunning designs. It features some of the all time greatest games such as Pac-Man, Centipede, Asteroids, and Galaga. The ones that do it for me though are the slip-on hyper trainers (above) and the Pac-Man trainers (below). They are not over the top but have a great retro game feel to it.
