Using the power of Google images Mike And Maaike have created these super sweet pixel style jewelry. They stole images of some of the most valuable jewels, pixelated them and created these leather jewelry pieces. The aim of the project is to explore the tangible versus the virtual in relation to real and perceived value. Included in the collection are pixel versions of the Hope Diamond Broach, the Golden Jubilee Diamond Broach, the Great Chrysanthemum Necklace, and Imelda Marcos’ Ruby Necklace with Diamonds.
