This cool animation by Jason Turner is created using 700 drawings featuring 1 continues line. Yes animation can be that simple but not that easy. [via Wooster Collective]

The extremely talented artist Jim Woodring has created these superb pieces of pop-up art in his moleskin sketch book. We need to see more pop-up art from more artists as the idea of 2D and 3D art together in one piece has so much potential. [via Drawn]

The typewriter was one of great inventions from the 19th Century and if would probably still be in use widely these days if the PC was not invented. The Virtual Typewriter Museum shows some of great typewriters from the 19th and 20th century and they are quite fascinating pieces of engineering. [via MAKE]

Tokyoplastic create some awesome animations and they seem to have hit it big with this series of advert / animations for the new Toyota Yaris. There are 5 animations that I know of, Chase (above), Piggy, MP3, Spider and my favourite of the bunch Bomb Da Bass (click links to watch). [via Ektopia]

The 300 trailer was almost as amazing as the actual movie and it caused a large number of mashups. The 300 pokemon mashup is my favourite the hundreds out there as it superbly made. A Mario mashup was guaranteed but the comic strip 300 Mario mashup by VGCats gets top marks.

Here are some Spider Man toys which may interest you if your one of many people that are drooling over the Spider Man 3 trailer. You have the Mr Potato Spider Spud which is one of the cutest Spider Man toys I have ever seen. Next up is the Spider Man kubrick figures. The black spidey one looks so simple yet so awesome.

Making toys bigger and better is always a good thing, but when you make them life sized it is even better. MAKE has coverage on a 1940 Ford car turned into a ready to build model with a 1:1 ratio and also a life size version of a classic board game I almost forgot about, Mouse Trap. What toy would you make life sized if you had a choice?

Its not often you see pixels dancing with such great rhythm. A teaser animation for Zune arts.
Puppets are used to entertain everyone no matter what the age group is and we have all grown up loving puppets. So what are the 10 greatest puppets from the past? Check out The 10 Greatest Puppets Videos over at unibrow to find out. The number 1 stop is well deserved in my opinion but my favourite has to be Kermit The Frog.
