Whenever I receive an email from Erick at Esc-Toy the little kid inside me gets very excited because I know he will be showing something very cool, unique and exciting. Esc-Toy are dropping some of the hottest toys I have seen so far this year at this years NYCC. The new Kissaki figure and 3 colourways of the new Old School Kaiju figure Dizign (which is amazing) which all stand at 10″ tall will be exclusives at the show with very limited numbers.

There will also be a few other treats so check all the images below and visit Esc-Toy for more info about the show schedule.

Artist Chris Beaumont has promised to bring us a new cube styled paper toy every week and if he can keep up the great work it looks like Cube Craft will be home to one of the finest paper toys collections on the web. I can not wait to download and start on the Stormtrooper, Mr.Stay Puft and Kirby paper toys.

If that is no enough for you then check out super sweet TNMT and Sonic paper toys. [via Paperkraft]

After being mesmerised by the Doktor A Spit & Polish Soopa Coin-Up I got a bit excited by the possibility of seeing even more awesome Soopa Coin-Up customs at the upcoming Soopa Show in New York. The best thing is there is a small chance I may actually be able to attend the show. Make sure you check out the Soopa Coin-Up website and a great interview with the creator Erick Scarecrow.

With the tons of video game figures around its always exciting to hear or toys for your favourite vintage games and the latest is news of Sonic the Hedgehog figures. The most exciting thing about this bit of news is that they are being created by First 4 Figures, who produce some absolutely stunning figures, and they will be based on the classic versions of the characters. I have full confidence that the initial line up of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles is going to be nothing short of amazing when they arrive around July 2008. [via Action Figure]

One of my highlights from the London Toy Fair was seeing these NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Action Figures and thinking its about time the TMNT franchise got a decent set of collectible figures. The figures are based on the original comic drawings created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird which is why they are all wearing the red mask. There is also hints of black and white versions. Expect these in April for less then $20 a piece.

After the success of the first Bart Simpson Qee series we have 2 new series to look forward to. Firstly there is the new Homer Simpson Qee which I thought would never work but I was wrong. However I still don’t think they are as cool as the Bart Qees which feature some classic episode designs from series 2 to 4. Expect these to be dropping in next few months.

Erick from Esctoy has dropped a sneak peak of the new toy from the Old Skool Kaiju project. Its looking sweet and I am really loving the originality that is coming out of Esctoy.

Medicom have tons of great movie collaborations for their Kubrick series and this is the1st one in a very long that oozes with extreme excellence. The Darth Maul figure on its own is very cool but the whole with the Sith Speeder really makes a must have set for any Star Wars and Kubrick fan. This should be out for May 2008 so keep a look out.
