These life size pieces of work are created entirely out of driftwood by Heather Jansch and they look like some kind of mutant animals from Resident Evil. “Driftwood is wood that has been washed onto a shore or beach of a sea or river by the action of winds, tides, waves or man.” (via wikipedia. ). There is not much info on how these were made but I refuse to believe that were built with just wet sand. To see the whole colection head over to the sand sculpture gallery.

Stunning 3D Figures By Keisuke Kishi

Keisuke Kishi creates these amazing 3D figures based on many themes including the Japan Edo period, Robots, Insects, Sea creatures and more. The Ministry of Mystic Machines theme, which includes the “Furin” - the wind-bell seller sculpt you see above, is my favorite of all the themes. Make sure you visit the Keisuke Kishi website and use the 360 VR View option to see the sculpts in all their glory. [link via Bibi’s Box]
