Kaiju Taro El Pollo Fiebre - Chicken Fever

How cool are these vinyl toys by Kaiju Taro based on Chickens!!! There are two versions, the Uno Dos Tres and the Utimo, with the Ultiimo being the highlight of the 2 for me. How often do you see a Chicken mutant dressed as a Mexican Wrestler. Both figures are coming out soon and are limited to 20 for the Uno Dos Tres and 30 for the Ultimo [via Toyboy Studios]

Coming Soon Bully Boombu! 4″ Resin Cast

Coming soon to a doorstep near you, Bully Boombu. Yes I finally did it, I’ve been able to hook up with an awesome sculptor (to remain anonymous for now) to create a sculpt of my Bully Boombu character and a mold. I will be casting resin copies for interested parties in the future. I’m very excited to do this! They’ll be hand painted and then distributed by myself. I am also considering the possibility of DIY versions, but that’s to be decided still. For now I have images of the very early stages of the sculpt and I should be posting the progress pics as they are made available to me..

I am hoping this is just the beginning for me. We shall see huh?

Phuek! Moving On From Customs To Production Vinyl

Phuek! has been in the vinyl scene for awhile now and I’m sure everyone who’s been around more than a short time has seen at least one of his customs. His amazingly detailed and well thought-out designs have had me in awe for awhile now, as they are not just customs, but almost new toys in and of themselves.. So it only makes sense that he finally is having his own production run done of a toy he’s designed! I’m sure you’ll all agree its looking great so far!

The toy is a mecha called p-77 and is being produced by Monolith Designs. It stands 6″ tall.

You can find out more about Phuek at his website.

DCTO - Progress: Packaging Is Complete

This just in from Chocolate Soop Blog ( Dacosta Bayley)! The packaging is complete for the DCTO toy coming up. No date still for release, but thought I would update you all.

On a related note, Dacosta has added more insight into his inspiration for this toy and what the meaning behind it is..

DCTO is my modern interpretation of an ancient Japanese Zen doll known as a Daruma doll which has been a symbolic talisman used for centuries in Japan. The Daruma doll (pronounced “dah-roo-mah”)… More on SOOP DE JUR
