Looking to waste some time or do you want to finally get a chance to create your own Kaleidoscope without cutting out loads of tiny little shapes. Believe me it is addictive so start out with the basic version here and then move on to the more advance and confusing version here.
In the world of video games getting more and more complicated with amazing graphics its cool to see people doing the opposite as an experiment.
“Here’s an experiment in keeping things small and confined to one Javascript file. There are no external image files or anything, everything is rendered with Javascript using either canvas elements or old fashioned div-making tactics (for IE). The sprites are stored in custom encoded strings in a format that only allows 4 colors for each sprite but in turn only takes up around 40-60 bytes per sprite.”

Whenever I receive an email from Erick at Esc-Toy the little kid inside me gets very excited because I know he will be showing something very cool, unique and exciting. Esc-Toy are dropping some of the hottest toys I have seen so far this year at this years NYCC. The new Kissaki figure and 3 colourways of the new Old School Kaiju figure Dizign (which is amazing) which all stand at 10″ tall will be exclusives at the show with very limited numbers.

There will also be a few other treats so check all the images below and visit Esc-Toy for more info about the show schedule.

Pixeloo has bought 2 loved cartoon and video game characters to life with some awesome Photoshop skills. The Mario image looks super cool while the Homer image just creeps me out. I can not wait to see what character is kicked in to the real world next.

Its great to see that vintage coin-op machines are not all being chucked away but instead restored. The Coin-Op collection on flickr is a superb collection and example of what a wonderful sight old coin-op machines can be.
