All you UK Hip Hop lovers or even doubters out there check out the Format Interview with Kano. Kano is 22 year old rapper from London who is making a name for him self in the UK urban music scene and is even being recognised by some of the big international players such as Jay-Z, RZA, Andre 3000. Kano featured with Craig David on the hit tune “This is the girl” (video above) but “.P’s And Q’s” (video below) is the tune that really made Kano stand out to me.

I have been listening to The Hype Show by DJ Kayper every Wednesday for the last year and so I thought it was about time I gave her a shout out. It might be because I am excited I will be seeing her live tomorrow for the first time or simply because she is the only DJ that seems to have the right mix of Hip Hop and Bhangra. Kanye West is easily one of the hottest rappers around and this video for the track ‘Stronger’ does not feature your usual big booties and pimped out rides but instead takes us to the far eats for some futuristic hip hop fun. Most can not fault Kanye right now and this definitely does make him stronger as an artist.

These 3 dancers may not be the greatest dancers in the world but they sure are good and do quite a impressive performance. I love the beginning of the routine as it shows that dancing does not always have to be serious but instead can be quite hilarious and fun. The rest of the routine is pretty standard though.

I am really feeling this tune at the moment by Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip. From their Myspace profile it seems a though this song is comes under the Hip Hop, Electronica and Indie genres. The video is pretty cool as well. Any one know of any similar songs I might enjoy? [via HiphipUK]
