I recently went to the NME Big Gig at the O2 in London and the highlight and surprise for me at the show was how amazing Bloc Party were. The Prayer was amazing live and I am sure its not going to be everyone’s taste but none the less I recommended you check Bloc Party out and enjoy there awesome beats and sounds.

I’m a big fan of Redbull especially on Monday afternoons to help me get through the rest of the day after a long weekend and the can was something I never gave any attention to. But the Redbull art of can seems to have changed the can in to something exciting. The inspiring 250ml Rhythm entry is a great example of what can be done with the once boring empty Redbull can. MTV has partnered with MySpace Random Report to search for a brand new presenter to host MTV News.

One lucky punter will be plucked from obscurity to follow in the footsteps of ex-presenters Cat Deeley, Edith Bowman, Russell Brand, Alex Zane, Trevor Nelson and Kelly Brook – all of whom started their careers at the MTV studios in Camden. The successful candidate will get to present daily bulletins across MTV ONE, MTV Hits, TMF, MTV Base and VH1, and will have the chance to travel the world and brush shoulders with A list stars like Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent and Cameron Diaz.

How to audition:

Shoot a short video of yourself presenting to camera and upload your screen test to the Random Report page on MySpace by December 21st. MTV is going to sift through all of the videos and invite the best candidates to London to audition for the fulltime position. You don’t need any experience. MTV is just asking that you’re fun and won’t be fazed by interviewing some of the world’s biggest stars from the film, music and entertainment world.

This has got to be one of the most enjoyable live performances ever especially for all you vintage game lovers. Watch it and you will be amazed at how many different games they fit in and at how close to the original music they orchestrated.

Kanye West is easily one of the hottest rappers around and this video for the track ‘Stronger’ does not feature your usual big booties and pimped out rides but instead takes us to the far eats for some futuristic hip hop fun. Most can not fault Kanye right now and this definitely does make him stronger as an artist.

Yes that’s right in this new edition of Michael Jackson’s Punch-Out! you can live your dream and give MJ a few smacks in the mouth… well actually you cant because this is not actually a game but instead a great mash-up animation by Mike L.
