Lego is one of those toys that will always be around because it is so simple yet so clever. There is so much that can be done with Lego and these retro video game scenes are a great use of Lego. Every video game fan will recognise these scenes so I wont spoil it for you and let you guess the games instead. If you are stuck here is a little clue, they are all great NES games. Hopefully there will be more scenes soon because we all love Lego (and video games as well!!!). [via LEGOd Video Games]

This is one show I am very sad about as there is no chance I will get to go. It is the Back In The Day show where top artists will be customising retro toys. The show opens tomorrow night, 21st July, at the L Street Fine Art Gallery and is organised by Wheaty Wheat Studios. Here are some of the customs that will be there. [images via Vinyl Pulse]

I just happened to come across this very funny comic strip featuring some Lego men. The pictures are taken brilliantly and really capture the moment. I don’t want to spoil it for you so view the rest of the pictures below. Pictures via Devilsgun
